CASE STUDY: SPI Lasers

Project Description:

We worked with SPI Lasers after they acquired one of our existing clients to deliver technical support, website design and search engine optimisation.

SPI Lasers are experts in manufacturing fiber lasers. In 2015, when JK Lasers were purchased by SPI, they were only too happy to recommend that SPI retain our services and expertise, based upon the high-quality work we had delivered in the past. This meant the business continued to benefit from our work with JK Lasers, and we haven’t disappointed!

After the acquisition of JK Lasers, SPI needed to bring together the two websites. We were asked to play a strategic role in the merger of these two websites, working with our client to then ensure that the optimisation of the new SPI Lasers website continued to benefit from the time and effort we had already invested in the former JK Lasers website.

Following this initial project, and having had the opportunity to demonstrate our skills and expertise, we have worked on SEO and content optimisation for SPI. This has included website copywriting, blog writing, infographic design and marketing and management of their online PR and communications.

The Result

Since beginning a relationship with Opace, the SPI Lasers website has seen a 25% increase in overall visibility across 150 keywords and 6 search engines. This has been supported with highly competitive keywords including ‘Industrial Lasers’, ‘Laser Welding’, ‘Laser Cleaning’, ‘Laser Processing’, ‘Fiber Lasers’and ‘Additive Manufacturing’ achieving very strong first page rankings on Google.

I find OPACE to be an extremely proactive agency who are clearly very switched on when it comes to managing our SEO functionality. They have shown great professionalism in getting to grips with our highly complex and technical suite of products; culminating in some great content that has been seeded throughout the web and utilised on our on website to support our content hungry customer base.
